大悲咒
56. 娑婆诃
suō pó hē。
觀世音菩薩現目犍連尊者相
佛陀十大弟子傳─摩訶目犍連尊者
譯：「娑婆訶」於此意為廣大無邊。
解說：此句是菩薩為眾生指點迷津，早修覺路的真言。
菩薩慈悲看到大千世界的眾生，多受輪迥之苦，乃一再點化眾生，要及早醒悟，了解「四生」、「六道」之苦，並能立即進身修行，共承佛法廣大無邊的恩澤。
只要眾生能真心修習，忍辱精進，必有成功的一天。
切不可以道深莫測，佛法難求為藉口而不去修行，要知：
人生一世，草長一秋，幾十年的光陰，彈指即過，而無常來時，一切都將空無所有。
何不遵從菩薩指示及早醒悟，認真修習無上佛法，以為來世做些功德呢？
神通变化属第一
He is foremost in spiritual powers, as well as
transformations and changes.
金锡杖救世间稀
金锡杖救世间稀
Truly rare is his golden staff which saves those in the
world.
地狱众生蒙恩受
地狱众生蒙恩受
Beings in the hells all receive this rare kindness, and
离诸障难发菩提
离诸障难发菩提
Are freed of obstacles and difficulties,
resolving their mind on Bodhi.
