大悲咒

67. 娑婆诃

suō pó hē。

觀世音菩薩現舍利佛尊者相

譯：「娑婆訶」於此意為究竟涅榮，

Interpretation: “Suo Po He” means finally it will be glorious,  

眾生悉皆成就。

All living beings will be successful.

解說：此句是承接上句，

Explaination: This is a continuation of the previous verse,

菩薩以無量慈悲化導各類眾生，

Buddha through immeasureable compassion to transform all living beings;

隨緣得道的真言。

The truth about following the karma to achieve the way.

大千世界各類眾生以「人」為上，

The “Big Thousand World” with Human at the top amongst all living beings;

所謂「人為萬物之靈」。

Therefore “human represent the spirit of the ten thousand living beings”.

因此，「人」要以其獨具的玲性，

Thus, human must use the unique quality of the spiritual character;

幫助各類眾生齊心向道，

To help all other living beings to move towards cultivating the way;

不可恃強凌弱，

Can’t just rely on the strong and discard the weak;

忽視上天有好生之德。

To ignore the goodness of heaven’s nature.

要知宇宙形成之初原是渾然一體，

Must understand that originally the formation of the universe is from one body;

其後光分日月，氣化清濁，才有天地之別。

After the light split into day and night, the Qi transforming to clear and muddy, the formation of heaven and earth.

進而萬物滋生，成形別類，

Then all living beings are produced, forming different kinds.

日久天長，物競天擇，才有今日的世界。

Through the passage of time, through natural selection, the world of today is formed.

因此，人物同源，迨無分別，

Therefore, all humans are from the same source, there is no difference.

只是各盡其用，順其自然而已。

It is only that everyone is used in their own way, naturally and nothing more.

生而為人，實應體念此天地好生之德，

To be born as a human, actually responding to the syphathetic considerations of the goodness of heaven and earth.

珍重自已，愛惜物命，

Treasure ourself, cherish the physical life;

尤須仰悟菩薩慈悲渡世之心，

Particularly must comprehend Buddha’s compassionate wish to ferry all living beings;

廣結善綠，

To spread the seed of compassion;

同濟同修，

Together to aid, together to cultivate;

以達光明世界。

To reach the illuminated world.

此即是天心，也是佛心。

This is the heaven’s heart; it is also the Budhha’s heart.

无字真经挂身边

With the wordless true Sutra hanging ever by his side.
智如大海定如山

His wisdom matches the ocean; his Samadhi, a lofty mountain.
戒德圆明光遍照

When precepts and virtue are perfected, clear light shines everywhere.
普摄群机度有缘

Gathering beings in when they're ready, he saves those with affinities.
