大悲咒

52. 娑婆诃

suō pó hē。

觀世音菩薩現三頭善聖相

譯：「娑婆訶」意為成就、吉祥、圓寂、息災、增益、無住等，為真言結語。

The meaning of Suo Po He is “success, lucky, death, end of calamity, gaining, not dwelling, etc, are the real conclusion.

解說：此句是菩薩弘示妙法，教眾生體悟修道要常歸寂光的真言。

Explanation: This is Buddha’s wonderful method, teaching all sentient beings to awaken to the cultivation of “returning to solitary”.

所謂「寂光」，就是指真理的寂靜和真智的光照。

Meaning “Solitary Light” is the real meaning of quietness and real wisdom.

意思是修道人要能真正體悟到佛的境界原本就是不生不滅，不垢不淨的自然存在。

The meaning is those who cultivate the inner self must understand that in the world of Buddha, there is no increase or decrease, no dirt or clean, it is all natural.

只要能順諸本性，堅定修持，最後必能使理智圓融，離卻法相。

Only have to follow the inner self, steady and resolute in the cultivation, at the end will be able to all come together, leaving the imagery of the method.

維摩經弟子品說：「法常寂然，滅諸相故」。

Disciple of Wei Mo says: “The method is often silent and quiet, without the imagery.”

法常寂然，滅諸相故 - constantly being silence and quiet extinguish all happenings.

能有此寂靜無事的胸懷，才能修業證道。

Only with this ability in perceiving the quietness/nothingness of all matters, can the successful cultivation be achieved.

但世間眾生，往往執著佛法，貪住莊嚴，

But most living beings are attached to this Buddhism method, greedy about the status.

結果不但無益於修行，而且越修越遠，終而流於魔道。

The end result is not useful to the cultivation, getting worst with the cultivation, eventually drifting towards the evil methodology.

執著佛法,貪住莊嚴。

Attached to the Buddhist methodology, greedy about status.

息灾增福妙吉祥

Wondrous auspiciousness dispels disasters and increases blessings.
佛法僧宝放毫光

The Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha Jewels emit brilliant light.
观行一心无相礼

Single-mindedly reflect and practice bowing that transcends appearances.
是大菩提化万方

Great Bodhi is what teaches and transforms beings everywhere.
