大悲咒

24. 萨婆萨婆

sà pó sà pó。

觀世音菩薩現香積菩薩相

譯：「薩婆」是說：佛法平等，利樂眾生，

Interpretation: “Sa Po”means the way of the Dharma is fair; it is to benefit and to make happiness to all living beings;

一切有緣者皆可得到樂利。

Anyone who has the karmic relationship can obtain this benefits and happiness.

解說：此句是菩薩召五方鬼兵為侍從，

Explaination: This verse is Buddha summoning the spirit soldiers of the five directions to serve as chamberlains.

以無礙的辯才，

Through unhindered elegance;

利樂一切有緣眾生的真言。

The truth about benefiting all who has the karmic relation.

菩薩慈悲常思度盡眾生，
Buddha compassion always thinking of ferrying all living beings;

但眾生愚昧，

But living beings are ignorant;

卻不知如何讓自己成為有緣之人，

Not knowing how to become one with the karmic relation;

這是菩薩真正辛苦之處！

This is the most difficult thing for Buddha;

幸而佛法廣大，菩薩有情，

Luckily the Darma is vast, the Buddha is sentimental;

乃能使芸芸眾生漸漸步向行善之途。

To be able to make numerous living beings gradually steps towards the road of compassion.

所以，修行之人，

Therefore, for all who cultivates;

應該好好珍惜難得的機緣，

Should treasure these precious and difficult to come by “karmic relation”;

一入道途，即應死心塌地，

Once inside this journey of the Way, must be unswerving/relentless;

不計艱難，一心向前，

Disregard the difficulties and hardship, wholeheartedly moving forward;

方能獲得菩薩接引。

Only then can receive the Buddha’s welcome.

如果貪慕色相，

If one is attach to greed, admiration, sex, appearance;

掛念生死，

Concerned about life and death;

或是有始無終，

or with a beginning but without an ending;

心意不專，

The intention is not concentrated;

對修持的目標疑信參半，

With doubts and half hearted goal/target with regards to persevering with the cultivation;

那就不但不能道行圓滿，

That will not only be not fruitful;

而且會墮落塵沙，永無了脫之期。

Moreover will degenerate to dust and powder, forever not able to leave.

香积菩萨大威神

Accumulated Fragrance Bodhisattva is an awesome and mighty spirit.
青黄赤白黑鬼兵

Ghosts of blue, yellow, red, white, and black hue.
服劳执役听教化

Toil and slave, obeying the teaching and changing themselves.
感应道交救群生

When responses mesh the Way, all kinds of beings are saved.
