大悲咒

28. 度卢度卢.罚阇耶帝

dù lú dù lú • fá shé yē dì。

觀世音菩薩現嚴峻菩薩相

Quan Yin Pusa appearing as stern and strict.
譯：「度盧」是說：修道人要穩定腳跟，一心修持，不為外道所惑；

dù lú means practitioner of the Dharma must develop a strong footing, cultivating wholeheartedly, not to be distracted by outside influence:

「度盧度盧」則是說：明而能決，定而能靜。

dù lú dù lú means after comprehension it is very easy to decide, after deciding it is easy to become tranquil.

「罰闍耶帝」是說：廣博嚴峻，能超脫生死苦惱。

fá shé yē dì is saying that by practicing extensively and vigorously, one can transcend the pain and suffering of living and dying.

廣博嚴峻 – extensive and rigorous.

解說：此句是菩薩教化修通人，務必認清門徑，

Comment: This verse is saying for Buddha to teach and transform practitioner, one must recognize clearly the Dharma door,

尋得清淨純正的大道，一心一意的向前邁進，始終不懈的真言。

after locating the pure, tranquil and unadulterated Dharma door, wholeheartedly and single mindedly progressing  forward, untiringly from start to end.

由於世間一般修道之人，往往不辨邪正，不究真偽，

Reason being practitioner of this world, sometimes do not differentiate between true or bogus, without identifying the authenticity,

匆促學習，甚而另闢蹊徑，

learning it in a hurry, even to the extend of repudiating the authentic scripture,

不訪明師，附會時尚，

without seeking a proper master, stressing on a particular methodology based on the fashion,

於是今日學此，明日學彼，終無所成。

always studying this today and that tomorrow, without achieving any thing at the end.

如此，以滿腔私欲，妄求成佛之道的行為，又怎能有所成就呢？

In this manner to satify one’s own selfish desire, seeking the Dharma to attain Budhahood, how to be successful in the quest?

其實道在眼前，佛在本心，一貫初衷，循序漸進，自能抵達自在的境界。

Actually the Dharma is front of the eye, the Buddha is inside the inner self, with a consistent aspiration from start to finish, step by step, will naturally arrive at a realm of freedom.

蛮兵勇猛战无敌

This ruthless army exhibits its matchless courage in battle.
孔雀雄威镇群魑

This fierce, heroic peacock shocks the mountain sprites.
菩萨号令巡天下

Bodhisattvas issue commands as they patrol the entire universe.
护善除恶度众迷

Protecting the good, dispelling evil, and clearing up confusions.
