大悲咒
35. 穆帝隶
mù dì lì。
觀世音菩薩現諸佛菩薩相
譯：「穆帝隸」是說：閉目澄心默持。
意為淨心修持。
解說：此句是菩薩勸人修道，首要將塵緣看破，立志純一，朝夕省惕，去除一切私慾的真言。
為著眾生得道，菩薩常發大慈悲心，即除諸般煩惱，使眾生得大解脫，菩薩也恐人信心不堅，所以特以閉目、澄心的方式，指引修道眾生純淨思慮、體悟真義。
所謂「閉目」，並非只閉眼即可，而是要斬斷色光，不使游目四顧而垂簾內省。
以無慾觀照其妙，而澄心乃是念慮澄清、心明若鏡，以持之有定，這兩者應相互為用，互生影響，使內修圓融，達到外魔不侵的崇高境界。
闭目澄心诵真言
Close their eyes, clear their minds, and chant these
true words.
一念不生妙通玄
When not a single thought arises, the esoteric is
penetrated.
三昧加持智光现
With the aid of Samadhi, the brilliant light of
wisdom is revealed.
诸佛称赞善女男
Buddhas all laud praise good men
and good women who.
