大悲咒

41. 呼卢呼卢摩囉

hū lú hū lú mó là。

Quan Yin Pusa appearing as King of Spirit God from eight section.

譯：「呼盧」是現神鬼相，

hū lú means appearing as spirit god,

「呼盧呼盧」就是因現神鬼相而降伏鬼眾；

hū lú hū lú represent the appearance of spirit god to subdue the multitude of ghosts:

「摩囉」是現歡喜如意相。

mó là means the appearance of being happy and contended.

解說：此句是菩薩教人修成道果之後，則可神通廣大，

Comment: Buddha is teaching us that after fully developing the way, it is a very powerful and magical thing,

變化莫測，或現神鬼相，降伏鬼眾，

The transformation is immeasurable, or the appearance of spirit god to subdue the multitude of ghosts,

或現歡喜相，利濟眾生，

Or the appearance of happiness to benefit all living beings,

無不隨意自在的真言。

Becoming totally at peace.

所以，證到道果的人，可獲永久福報，不受拘束，

Those who achieve enlightenment, the benefit/reward is forever, without any hindrances,

這比塵世富貴，要高超如意得多。

Which is much much more than all the world’s riches and glory, much much higher and much more satisfying than that.

因為塵世中的富貴，享受只是一時，

This riches and glory of this world is only temporary,

所謂財大禍多，官高險重，費盡心機，

With riches the disaster is also numerous, with high authority/position the danger is also great, to constantly plot schemes in the brain,

得到的不過是過眼煙雲，

What is obtained will pass within a blink of the eye,

何如我佛菩薩，心比日月，光明自在。

Why not be like our Bodhisattva, whose heart is like the sun and moon, always bright and luminous.

所以，有情眾生應澈底了悟此一生命無常的道理，

So, living beings through our karmic relationship to fully comprehend the meaning of impermanence,

進而能勇往精進，同登彼岸。

Through vigorous determination and dedication, to arrive at the other shore.

观音示现鬼神王

Contemplating Sounds appears as a king of ghosts and spirits.
降伏诸魔守规章

Who forces the demons to submit and follow the rules and regulations.
一切众生依教诲

Each and every being relies on the teaching and instructions.
强者调柔弱者昌

The strong are pacified, and the weak are able to flourish.
